The Amex Platinum Card’s annual fee increased from $550 to $695, an increase of $145 or 26.36%. If you’re a current Platinum Cardholder and your annual fee renews before 1.01.2022, then you’ll pay $550 one more time. If your card renews after 1.01.2022, then you’ll pay the $695 annual fee. If you sign up for the card for the first time, the $695 fee will be effective immediately.
