The second is to earn 65K Membership Rewards points after spending 7.5K in the first 3 months. Then earn 1 point per dollar. To learn more about spending categories, visit: www.americanexpress.com/rewards-info There is no limit to the total number of points you can earn. AMEX BUSINESS GOLD 25% AIRLINE BONUS Book your flight with American Express Travel using Membership Rewards Pay with Points and get 25% of those points back. Either book any class flight with your selected qualifying airline, or a First or Business class flight. You can get up to 250,000 points back per calendar year. NOTE: This is a business credit card for small business issued by American Express. As such, it will not appear on your personal credit report and will not count against the Chase 5/24 Rule (meaning it won’t affect your eligibility for cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Reserve or the Chase Ink Business Preferred). This is GREAT because if you’re trying to increase your credit score, then you’ll want to keep your credit utilization low and avoid opening new cards (due to credit report hard inquiries and new cards lowering your overall length of credit history). That’s why business credit cards are worth considering. As an added tip, the Chase business credit cards require you to be under 5/24 when applying, but won’t actually increase your 5/24 count if approved. Those cards include the Chase Ink Business Preferred card, Chase Ink Business Unlimited card and the Chase Ink Business Cash cards - as well as the cobranded airline credit cards like the Southwest Rapid Rewards Performance Business Credit Card, the Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Business Credit Card and the United Business Card. American Express Business credit cards (incl. business charge cards) do not report to your personal credit report. Some known exceptions that DO report on the personal side are business credit cards from Discover Bank, TD Bank and Capital One (though the Capital One Spark Business Cash cards no longer report when approved via new credit card applications).
