JETBLUE TRUEBLUE BENEFITS

- Earn & share points via JetBlue TrueBlue family pooling
GOOD TO KNOW
- FREE 1st Checked Bag benefit: Covers the primary cardmember & up to 3 travel companions on the same reservation. Must be JetBlue-operated flight. Ticket purchase(s) must be made with the JetBlue Plus credit card or JetBlue Business credit card. Cardmember’s TrueBlue Membership Account number must be entered at the time of booking.
- JetBlue Business Card will not appear on personal credit report.
- Both Cards issued by Barclays
- Signup Bonus Eligibility Language: “You may not be eligible for this offer if you currently have or previously had an account with us in this Program.”
- Best to wait 6+ months between Barclays credit card applications
- Barclays “6/24 Rule”: You may be denied if you’ve opened 6 or more credit cards with any bank in the past 24 months. Unlike with Chase, this is a soft rule that may not apply to co-branded cards, but still be aware of it. It applied quite strongly to the Barclays Arrival Plus card when it was available, but not to all credit cards. That said, it’s best to have not opened multiple cards in a short period of time before applying for a Barclays credit card.
OTHER CREDIT CARDS TO CONSIDER
Check out the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select Card and the Citi AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard. There’s also the Barclays Aviator card (Aviator Red card is the most well-known). A variety of great options also exist if you fly Southwest Airlines. The Southwest credit card has multiple “flavors” of it (Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus card, Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier card and the Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority card are 3 of them). If you fly on United Airlines, then check out the United MileagePlus Explorer Card / United Explorer Card (and the all-new United Gateway Card is a great option if you want to earn United miles with no annual fee). There are also some variations of the Delta SkyMiles credit card (Delta SkyMiles Gold Card and Delta SkyMiles Platinum Card are two that are commonly held by many people).
